I like simple websites.
A simple web design, relying on text and static pictures, can be more sustainable and accessible to more people.
If you have examples of simple websites you like, please share them!
Recently, I've created a couple simple sites myself:
- Poll It! - a site for creating very basic surveys.
- SAP Scorecard - a prototype for a scorecard for the Spokane Sustainability Action Plan.
- plaintextspokane - a work-in-progress web guide for Spokane.
- Dynasty Curve - a fantasy baseball tool for predicting future performance.
I'd like to build more simple tools. Consider supporting me here ☕︎

- Low-Tech Website - a solar powered website - it sometimes goes offline.
- McMaster-Carr - hardware, tools, raw materials. A great example of form follows function. I challenge you to find a faster, more responsive website.
- Derek Sivers - his site was an inspiration for my own.
- the Fitness Wiki - a Wiki created by the fitness community on Reddit.
- Jeremy Singer-Vine - a data editor for the NYT.
